A safe and guaranteed delivery
As soon as your jewel is ready, we proceed to its delivery in a packaging which does not mention its content, via Colissimo with delivery against signature. Once your parcel is sent, you will receive a notification with a tracking number to follow your delivery status.
Your parcel will be delivered against signature. If you notice any defect (damaged or half-open box, for instance), don’t hesitate to report it to the deliverer and to notify us on the delivery note.
Our jewels are lifetime guaranteed
Good news: all our jewels are lifetime guaranteed, against any default or hidden defect, as long as they have not gone through any process, of any kind (new cut, rhodium-plating, etc) within a workshop other than ours. Would this be a default or a hidden defect we would be responsible for, we would fix it up at our expense and so would be the shipping costs of the fixed jewel. You could also come and pick it up at the workshop.
If sometimes the issue resulted from something else than a design defect, we would be responsible for, we would contact you and propose you a repair estimate at the right price. In this case, the shipping costs of your fixed jewel would be at your expense if you could not come and pick it up at the workshop.
If you had some clue of the root of the problem, for example if your jewel had been damaged because it fell on a hard surface like marble, or if you had damaged a claw set during your favorite sport activity, please don’t hesitate to inform us when you give us your jewel … It will allow us to save time on the problem solving. Do not worry: we will always find a solution to fully satisfy you, at the right price, when fixing your jewel.
Our stones come from ethical sources
All our suppliers are granted the RJC (Responsible Jewelry Council) label, which was founded in 2005.
It is non-profit organization which aims at involving the whole players of the jewelry to implement a code of ethics and the best social and environment practices. For further information, please visit http://www.responsiblejewellery.com
Our diamond dealers are all certified Kimberley Process, which is an international regime of certifications for diamonds which was founded in 2000 and guarantees that uncut diamonds are “free from any conflict”, that is to say they were not ever used to fund any military conflict. According to the definition of the United Nations General Assembly, conflict diamonds are “diamonds that originate from areas controlled by forces or factions opposed to legitimate and internationally recognized governments and are used to fund military action in opposition to those governments, or in contravention of the decisions of the Security Council”.
Our stones are natural and certified
All our gems are natural and have been formed in the bowels of the earth. We particularly guarantee you the provenance of our diamonds and we will issue a certificate established by well-reputed laboratories (like the Gemmological Institue of America, the Hoge Raad voor Diamant of Antwerp or the LFG (French Laboratory of Gemmology) of Paris) for stones exceeding 0.50 carats. Other stones’ certificates established by laboratories are available upon request (variable costs according to the weight of the stones, please contact us); however, we will always provide you a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing the natural origin of the gem, the 18 K gold and the 18 K platinum.
Most of our stones are untreated. However, when it is the case (which barely happens), we precise it in the product features. When it is about a tailor-made order, we let you choose the treated center stones, because for some budget reason, you might go for this option. What matters for us is to be totally transparent concerning the quality of the stone you are going to buy. Anyhow, all certificates issued by the laboratories we work with mention the treatments aiming at improving the appearance of the gem.
